With E3 less than two months away, Phil Spencer revealed some tidbits on what goes into planning an E3 press conference. Spencer said that he is trying to make this E3 more about the first party games than past E3s.
With Halo 5: Guardians, Crackdown, and Quantum Break, things are looking up for Microsoft this year at E3. They will also have a new IP, but it’s unknown what game it is or who is the developer. Spencer also reassured fans that that there will be plenty of third party support as well as showing plenty of gameplay footage instead of CG trailers.
E3 2015 is scheduled for June 16th through June 18th and a plethora of games will be unveiled.
I still get excited about E3. With the thought of new games of existing franchises and new IP, E3 is the one time of the year where I get really excited about games. While the Xbox One has a couple of games I would like to play, I hope this year’s E3 is the one that makes me want to get an Xbox One. They already have Quantum Break coming, but I would like to see more games for it.
