Millions of Nintendo Games Sold

In a batch of Nintendo financial information recently released, the company showcased their top selling Nintendo games.

At the top of the list is Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, selling 9.94 million units worldwide. Following this were Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS at 6.75 million units, Smash Bros. for Wii U at 3.75 million units sold, and Mario Kart 8 at 5.1 million units sold to date.

It is also worth noting that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask has also performed well, selling 2.03 million copies since its 3DS release.

My Opinion:

It’s nice to see some solid numbers for many games that have been around for a bit and others that have recently been available. I hope the momentum continues and allows Nintendo to flourish again.
