Dark Souls III will be directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. Bandai Namco has said that this will be the final game in the series. Dark Souls III seems that it will still retain on what made that series amazing with difficult but fair gameplay, epic boss fights, and a lush, gloomy environment.
One of the new features of the game is called Ready Stance. Ready Stance seems that it’ll be a very powerful charge attack, something akin to Bloodborne. There are also gravestones similar to Bon Fires hidden throughout the game on which you can learn more about the story and lore of the universe that the From Software team has created.
Dark Souls III will arrive for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC sometime in early 2016.
I absolutely loved Dark Souls and Bloodborne so knowing that Hidetaka Miyazaki returned to the series he created is awesome to see. The good thing about both those games is that despite it being the same, they’re completely different from each other so if Dark Souls III is better than Dark Souls, I think that we will have one amazing game.
