Today, CD Projekt Red unveiled the latest trailer for its upcoming Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion.
“Become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. With all trails leading to dead ends, only a witcher can solve the mystery and survive the evil lurking in the night. Introducing an entirely new realm to traverse, new characters and monsters, Blood and Wine is a 30+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit,” the trailer’s synopsis reads.
Blood and Wine is the second and final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC May 31st.
My Opinion:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was my personal GOTY in 2015, and set the bar for RPGs going forward. It was the Witcher 3 that made me feel disappointed with Fallout 4, and I fully expect Blood and Wine to do the same with all DLC to follow it. Now, I just have to prepare to say goodbye to my friends and family before it arrives May 31st.
