The coda to The Witcher 3 is upon us. Blood and Wine is set to release next week and when it does it will be the end of The Witcher 3 content — and the end of our fun times with water hags. But before that happens, CD Projekt Red has released one last trailer for the DLC.
The trailer’s description reads:
“For the last time become professional monster slayer Geralt of Rivia and explore Toussaint, a remote land untouched by war, where you will unravel the horrifying secret behind a beast terrorizing the kingdom. Blood and Wine is a 30+ hour adventure full of dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit.”
Blood and Wine is the second and final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC May 31st.
My Opinion:
Blood and Wine looks to pick up where The Witcher 3 and its first DLC Hearts of Stone left off, and that’s at the point of pure bee’s knees. Despite only being an expansion, it’s set to offer more content than most full games , and will also be the display of everything CD Projekt Red has learned post-launch of The Witcher 3. They have described it as their most refined product yet, and it’s by far my most anticipated game (even if it’s just an expansion) for 2016.
