Persona 5 Finally Gets A North American Release Date

At long last, Atlus USA has finally given us what we wanted for years now; a release date for Persona 5 for North America.

Along with the release date, Atlus USA has also revealed a collector’s edition. The $89.99 PlayStation 4 Exclusive “Take Your Heart” Edition will have the following:

Soundtrack CD:

It will have selected songs from the soundtrack by series composer Shoji Meguro.

Morgana Plush:

A 4’’ plush of one of the Phantom Thieves, Morgana.

64-Page Artbook

An artbook that shows the creation of the game by series character designer Shigenori Soejima.

Steelbook:

A Steelbook with an exclusive cover.

School Bag:

A School Bag that is based off of the same bag that the Phantom Heart use during school. It even comes with the Shujin Academy Crest.

Collectible Outer Box:

All of this is stored in a massive collectible box, according to Atlus the largest they have ever made.

Persona 5 NACE

The Launch Edition of Persona 5 for PlayStation 4 will also have the steelbook case.

Persona 5 will arrive to North America on February 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.

My Opinion:

I’m too excited about this to be sad about the 2017 release date. While I’m not entirely surprised about it, I was hoping for it to come out this year after a 2 year wait. The game will be worth the wait and I am DEFINITELY going to get the Take Your Heart Collector’s Edition.
