The news just keeps coming today — the latest information to roll out (or in this case spill out) involves Dead Rising 4.

Rumors of a new Dead Rising game have long been circulating the internet, and with E3 only a week away, it appears Dead Rising 4’s development has finally leaked.

Images of the new Dead Rising game emerged on ThisGenGaming this afternoon. Further, the images appear to show Dead Rising protagonist Frank West (who was left out the latest installment Dead Rising 3).

Note: while normally blurry off-screen photos should never be taken as anything more than mere rumor, Kotaku has since corroborated the leak, revealing they have seen another shot of the same poster from a different source.

Further according to ThisGenGaming, the game is set in Willamette, Colorado — the same location as Dead Rising 1 — leaving open the opportunity of this being a remake.  

It’s safe to bet if this leak is true, we will see Dead Rising 4 at Microsoft’s E3 conference next week.

My Opinion:

There’s almost too much news breaking today for me to even register this. My bet is: the game is real, Capcom Vancouver is making it, and it will be a brand new entry in the series. Oh and it will be better than Dead Rising 3 — naturally.
