Frank West appears ready to make his debut on the PlayStation.

Recently, Dead Rising 4 was revealed at E3 2016 and like Dead Rising and Dead Rising 3 before it, it’s an Xbox One console exclusive. However, this time it’s a “timed exclusive”, meaning the exclusivity will only last a year.

That being said, a list of Dead Rising trophies for PlayStation 4 has popped up on exophase, which could only mean that the 2006 Xbox 360 exclusive is getting a PS4 release in what expect to be a remaster.

Is this a bone throwing good-will move by Capcom (by giving PS4 players something to play during that timed exclusivity period)? Or just an attempt to refamiliarize PlayStation fans with the franchise? It’s hard to say.

My Opinion:

I wouldn’t be surprised if this remaster was real, and that it was also coming to Xbox One. The Dead Rising franchise is decent enough, but I barely have enough time to keep up with all the great releases in 2016, let alone play this again.
