Capcom has confirmed that Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off The Record are set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Speaking to Videogamer, Capcom confirmed the news after the trophies for Dead Rising leaked Sunday night.  

The publisher had the following to say:

“Capcom will be bringing Dead Rising to Xbox One, PS4 and PC. In addition, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record will make their way onto Xbox One and PS4. We will have more news to share soon.” 

Further details, such as: release date, price, and the nature of enhancement, have yet to be revealed.

My Opinion:

My guess is these games don’t hold up very well, especially the first one. I won’t be playing them, but I’m sure someone is beyond excited to go back and obliterate zombies in the mall with a t.v. as Frank West. Someone out there is longing for those days.
