One of the items that makes Mafia III stand out amongst other open-world games, is the story of protagonist Lincoln Clay. 2K Games has released a short trailer breaking down the character.

The trailer quickly cycles through stages of Lincoln’s life- from being orphaned as a child and serving in the Vietnam War to being accepted by the Black Mafia and having that adopted family ripped away. Watch the trailer below to see just how important family is to Lincoln Clay and what happens when it’s taken from him.

My Opinion:

I’ve never played any of the games in the Mafia series, but Mafia III has become one of my most anticipated games for 2016 largely due to the character of Lincoln Clay and the setting of New Bordeaux. The trailer doesn’t really show anything new for me, but is a nice intro to the character of Lincoln Clay.
