The launch of PlayStation VR is a few months away. As the system nears release more games have been announced for Sony’s VR headset, including Project Boundary.

From Chinese studio Surgical Scalpels, Project Boundary is a sci-fi multiplayer shooter set in space. The game takes place in the near future where space travel is now inexpensive and a number of factions vie over valuable goods. As of now, the game is set to only release in mainland China for both PlayStation 4 and PSVR. No official release date has been given.

My Opinion:

I had no idea about this game, but the trailer immediately grabbed my attention. The graphics look really good and if that level of fidelity is able to be carried over to PSVR, I might be more eager to pick up a PSVR sooner rather than later. Floating through space while shooting guns certainly looks cool, although all that motion may not make for the most comfortable VR experience. I hope it receives a Western release.
