QuakeCon 2016 is happening this week in Dallas and during the event Bethesda revealed a new gameplay trailer for Prey.

Releasing in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Prey is a “re-imagining of the IP.” This new take on the series revolves around Morgan Yu, a human test subject on a space station filled with various aliens. The aliens have a variety of powers that Morgan can attain during the course of the game. Interesting enough, Morgan Yu can be either male or female depending on the player’s choice.

The short gameplay trailer provides a quick glimpse of some of the environments Morgan must navigate, as well as some of the alien creatures present on the space station. Watch below and see what happens when your dreams turn into nightmares.

 

 

My Opinion:

Although the trailer didn’t show much in the form of gameplay, what it did show looked suitably creepy. After seeing it, I find myself wondering why things always go bad on space stations.
