This Final Fantasy VII Action Figure Ain’t No Angel

While Square Enix recently revealed its Squall Leonheart collectible, it isn’t finished yet! One of the most recognizable villains in gaming is getting the toy treatment next.

As part of Square Enix’s Play Arts Kai line of incredibly articulated collectibles, Sephiroth will be bringing some fire and brimstone to the shelves of collectors relatively soon. First revealed as an unfinished prototype, official photos and details of his accessories have been released.

While you may remember Sephiroth as the villain of Final Fantasy VII, this collectible is based specifically on his appearance in the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie. Standing 10” tall, this action figure will include his signature (and totally ridiculous) Masamune blade, three sets of hands, a transparent figure base, and a single black wing to plug into his back.

Square Enix has also revealed the release date and price, so collectors can look forward to getting their hands on this item December 2016 for 14,800 Yen (nearly $145 USD).

My Opinion:

Expensive, but tempting! Sephiroth is still one of my favorite villains, and this certainly does him justice.
