It appears Amazon has once again spilled the beans on another release date. This time its CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Complete Edition.
UPDATE: Konrad Tomaszkiewicz Game Director at CD Projekt Red has since confirmed The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will be launching August 30th.
The Amazon listing claims the new GOTY edition will be launching on August 30th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Further, that it will only cost $49.99.
As you may expect the Complete Edition comes packaged with the full game, all the free content, and both pieces (Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone) of DLC. Here’s how the current description reads:
“Become a professional monster slayer and embark on an adventure of epic proportions! Upon its release, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt became an instant classic, claiming over 250 Game of the Year awards. Now you can enjoy this huge, over 100-hour long, open-world adventure along with both its story-driven expansions worth an extra 50 hours of gameplay. This edition includes all additional content – new weapons, armor, companion outfits, new game mode and side quests.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released on May 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Upon release it garnered an impressive 92 on Metacritic, and was the big winner at various GOTY awards.
My Opinion:
Goodbye good grades, goodbye girlfriend, goodbye friends and family, and goodbye Vitamin D. Hello Witcher 3.
