It appears Ubisoft is about to announce a remaster of older Assassin’s Creed games for PS4 and Xbox One.
The news leaks out from the Korean Game Rating Board which has published age ratings for Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection. The ratings were awarded for a PlayStation 4 as well as an Xbox One version.
The listings do not mention anything about the content of said collection, but it’s easy to guess what the games are.
If the collection, going by the name, only features games where Ezio is the star, then we’re looking at Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
Both of the related ratings pages are down at the time of writing.
My Opinion:
In my expert, inarguable opinion, Assassin’s Creed 2, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood are the best games in the series. While the collection would be tempting to just jump into those two again — who cares about Revelations — I likely won’t be picking this up if it’s real. Simply, because there are too many new releases I have to worry about, let alone games I’ve already played.
