Ubisoft has announced a number of release dates for some of its VR games in development.
Today at Gamescom, Ubisoft unveiled release dates for Eagle Flight, Werewolves Within, and Star Trek: Bridge Crew, all VR-only games.
Eagle Flight:
Will release on October 18th for Oculus Rift. PlayStation VR and HTC Vive owners will get it on December 20th. Will be available at retail, but only for PlayStation VR.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew:
Will see simultaneous release on all VR platforms on November 29th. Will be available at retail as well, but only for PlayStation VR.
Werewolves Within:
Will be out on all VR platforms on December 6th.
Also revealed is that Trackmania Turbo will be receiving a free patch for PlayStation 4 on November 8th, to bring support for PlayStation VR. I’ve never been more excited to vomit.
My Opinion:
Besides Eagle Flight, none of those three games really do anything for me. Trackmania Turbo in VR though sounds like a vomit-inducing, adrenaline-fueled, insanely good time. That is something I can get behind.
