Destroy All Humans! rated for PS4 in Europe

A Destroy All Humans! game from Nordic Games appears to be on the horizon.

The Pan European Game Information board has rated Destroy All Humans! for PlayStation 4. Whether this rating is for a new game or for one of the PS2 games to come to the PS4, is anyone’s best guess.

Just a few months ago executive producer at Nordic Games Reinhard Pollice did say that Nordic is currently looking at resuscitating the series, “there are a few options we are evaluating now. Hope to get started on one of these soon.”

Destroy All Humans! was originally a THQ owned series, however, when THQ went bankrupt its properties were all auctioned off. Nordic Games was among one of the bigger buyers of these properties, and Destroy All Humans! was one franchise it picked up.

What is Destroy All Humans!?

Destroy All Humans! is an action adventure game that is set in 1959 in the U.S. and parodies the lifestyles, pop culture, and politics of the time period. The player controls Cryptosporidium 137, a member of the fictional Furon race of alien life, who has come to Earth to harvest DNA from humans to continue the cloning process of his species.

My Opinion:

Destroy All Humans! has a special place in my heart. Despite this, even I’m willing to admit most of the games aren’t very good. That being said, I hope Nordic reboot/reimagine the series from the ground up, and give us the human-abducting game we all deserve.
