It is less than a week away before Mai Shiranui makes her debut in Dead or Alive 5: Last Round. What better way to prepare than seeing her battle herself in some mirror match action?

The latest video featuring The King of Fighters transplant sees Mai in her traditional red wardrobe, as well as a cheerleader-esque alternate costume. Her familiar moveset is on full display in the destructible and multilayered levels of Dead or Alive. No official price has been revealed for purchasing Mai, but previous DLC characters have been $5.99.  Mai Shiranui bounces into action with the DOA cast Sept. 13th.

My Opinion:

Mai Shiranui really is a perfect fit for the world of DOA. She obviously has the particular attributes the series is fond of, and it looks like they have done a good job in translating her 2D moveset to a 3D world. DOA receives a lot of flack for its obvious sexual nature, but Dead or Alive 5 was some of the most fun I had with a fighter last generation. I wish Tecmo would wrap up the DLC and announce the next game in the series.
