Visual Concepts continues to put in work to ensure their NBA 2K Series remains the premiere basketball title. The latest trailer for NBA 2K17 is proof of their efforts.

The developer traveled over 16,000 miles and recorded more than 200 hours of live games from every NBA team. When gamers go to different arenas, each one of them should sound unique. The authenticity is present in the dribbling of the basketball hitting the the court to the roar of the crowd and team announcers in every venue.

Even the different sounds of the team shot clock buzzer was captured for accuracy. See and hear for yourself in the trailer below.

 

 

My Opinion:

Often times it is the little details that make all the difference. Capturing something so seemingly non-important as different buzzer sounds let’s me know the developers are really putting in work.
