Reus gets October 14th release date for PS4 & Xbox One

God sim game Reus will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 14th, publisher Soedesco has announced.

The game will be available both physically and digitally, though a price point has yet to be revealed.

Reus first launched for PC back in 2013. Once released, it garnered a 75 on Metacritic.

Bas Zalmstra, co-founder of developer Abbey Games had the following to say about the new console versions:

“The controller interface got a lot of attention, and you notice that. Playing Reus from the couch is a great and smooth experience! We are very happy with how the port turned out and we are very excited for REUS’ PS4 and Xbox One release.”

Never heard of Reus before but want to know more? No worries — here’s an official description:

“Create seas, deserts, forests, and swamps. Combine powers to make plants, trees, animals and mines. As the world takes shape, tiny humans will start to settle and create villages. It’s up to you to determine how well your giants will take care of the humans. Will you help them grow and develop? Even spoil them wherever you can? Every aspect of a planet will create different challenges and opportunities for the inhabitants of your world, so try out lots of combinations to see what works and what doesn’t.”

My Opinion:

I’m ready to terrorize the plebs and be a naughty god.
