The Nintendo Switch Hits the Road for Preview Tour

The Nintendo Switch might not hit store shelves until March 2017, but Nintendo has announced a way for eager gamers to get hands-on time with the system before then.

Yes, the Nintendo Switch is hitting the road as part of a multi-city tour starting next month. Each city visited during the tour will grant gamers access to see and play select launch games in unique and surprising settings. The tour stops last three days with the first two days being invite-only, but the final day being open to the public. If you plan to attend, come early due to limited space. Check out each tour stop below.

New York – Jan. 13-15

Toronto – Jan. 27-29

Washington, D.C. – Feb. 10-12

Chicago – Feb. 17-19

San Francisco – Feb. 24-26

Los Angeles – March 3-5

If you’re not able to make it to one of those major cities, the Switch will be hitting the convention circuit as well, with stops at PAX South in San Antonio (Jan. 27-29), PAX East in Boston (March 10-12) and SXSW in Austin (March 16-18).

My Opinion:

I don’t live near any of the tour stops, so I will be waiting till the Switch hits my local Gamestop or Best Buy. I am eager to see the Nintendo Switch Presentation on January 12th, where I expect to get an exact release date, price, and launch lineup.
