When NieR: Automata launches next year, players can expect certain things. Intense action, colossal boss fights, and grandiose music are all present in Square Enix’s futuristic action RPG. The latest trailer sheds more info on what’s in store upon release.
Revealed at Jump Festa 2017, the new trailer showcases a collaboration with the Dragon Quest series. The “Cypress Stick” will be available as a weapon in NieR: Automata, allowing players to see damage dealt in numbered form and treasure boxes in-game will take on a more Dragon Quest like appearance. Also shown during the footage is another weapon collaboration, as the “Engine Blade” from Final Fantasty XV makes an appearance.
NieR: Automata releases early next year for PlayStation 4, but eager fans of the series can try it out next week when the worldwide demo releases Dec. 22nd on PSN. Watch the trailer below to raise your excitement level even further.
My Opinion:
I didn’t realize a demo was coming so soon. I will definitely be downloading next week and hope the game plays, as well as it looks. The giant construction built boss glimpsed at the end of the trailer looks crazy.
