Thinking about picking up a Xbox One soon? Microsoft has announced a price drop for the Xbox One S.
Starting June 11th, the Xbox One S and Xbox One S bundles will receive a $50 price drop. The price drop date coincides with the Xbox E3 press conference, where Microsoft is expected to unveil Project Scorpio. No confirmation on if the Xbox One S price drop will be temporary or permanent.
My Opinion:
The price cut now makes sense, especially if Microsoft plans to price Project Scorpio on the lower end. I see the Scorpio mainly appealing to early adopters and the hardcore tech crowd, with the Xbox One S still serving as a nice alternative.
