Deep Silver has announced that Metro Redux will launch on August 26th in the US and August 29th in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Metro Redux includes a remastered version of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light, as well as all of the DLC content for both games. The games will be available separately as downloadable titles for $24.99 or together for $49.99. Both games include improved graphics, new gameplay elements, and new content.
The PlayStation 4 version of Metro Redux will run at 1080p while the Xbox One version will run at 900p; however both versions will run at 60fps.
My Opinion:
I loved Metro: Last Light, but never had a chance to play Metro 2033. I’m glad we finally have a release date for these so that I know when I will be playing them. I highly recommend anyone who likes a story based shooter to try these games out. They are creepy, fun, and are set in a really cool world.
