After months of speculating and predicting, Nintendo fans finally have an actual place to pre-order Amiibo figures.

On Amazon, people can reserve one (or more) of the twelve Amiibo figures for $12.99 each. This is a much lower price than predicted from overseas sites.

These interactive Nintendo figures will include the following characters:

• Mario
• Donkey Kong
• Peach
• Yoshi
• Link
• Samus
• The Villager
• Kirby
• Fox McCloud
• Pikachu
• Marth
• Wii Fit Instructor

These are just the first wave. There are still plenty of other characters that can be made into Amiibos to deepen the roster. The possibilities are pretty large.

The Amiibos can be used in various Nintendo games such as Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Party 10, and Yoshi’s Woolly World.

My Opinion:
Wait, $13? That’s fantastic! Earlier rumors and sites were up-shotting them at over $20. I’m glad that Nintendo decided to have an affordable price so that people aren’t discouraged, but rather encouraged to buy multiple Amiibos.
