Today, Nintendo announced that they will feature a major Super Smash Bros. sale. However, this sale isn’t exactly as it sounds.
Sadly, it is not for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. Instead, each week will feature various games on the eShop that include characters in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

- Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream (3DS) – $3.49 (normally $4.99)
The sale for these games will run until September 11th. On September 12th, a slew of new games will be on for sale for a week, and the pattern continues until October 2nd, the eve of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS’s release in North America.
My Opinion:
Great marketing strategy Nintendo! Continue to publicize one game, while advertising for ten other games. Though I probably won’t be getting any of these games, it is nice to see the opportunity for other gamers to enjoy these titles. I might wait and see what they have next week
