WWE 2K15 Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Wrestling fans wait no longer as the first gameplay trailer for WWE 2K15 has arrived.  The footage features veterans of the promotion like Hulk Hogan, HHH, Undertaker, and John Cena to newer superstars like Cesaro, Roman Reigns, and the Wyatt Family. Past Wrestlemania performer Kid Rock’s “Bawitdaba” plays over the hard-hitting, canvas smashing action in the trailer.  WWE fans will be happy to see the visually-impressive wrestler entrances which capture the unique mannerisms of each performer.  From the smoky pyrotechnics of The Undertaker to WWE champion Brock Lesnar angrily pacing and forth, the entrances match the live experience.  Once the bell rings WWE 2K15 will replicate all the trademark moves of your favorite wrestler.  The action even spills outside of the ring as RVD and Roman Reigns deliver signature maneuvers as seen in the gameplay footage.

The trailer closes with newcomer to the series Sting in his black and white crow attire.  It is the first appearance for the iconic wrestler in a WWE game.  Those who pre-order WWE 2K15 will get access to both the beach-blonde colorful surfer version and dark, bat wielding, crow version of the character.  WWE 2K15 arrives October 28th for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.  Then on November 18th the series makes its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

My Opinion:

Growing up as a kid I was a huge wrestling fan.  I watched everything from WWE (formerly WWF) , WCW, to ECW and TNA.  While I no longer regularly watch anymore, I still keep an eye out for any major developments that go down.  Watching the trailer takes me back to the time I would anticipate watching WWE RAW every Monday night.  It is very cool to see Sting be featured in the game as he was always one of my favorites.  If I was still heavy into wrestling, I would pre-order WWE 2K15 for sure.
