PlayStation Store is currently hosting a pair of sales with a total of 62 games featuring slashed prices. The Sale of the Dead is comprised of seasonal, “spooky” games as we approach Halloween. Running concurrently, the Namco Sale celebrates the work of storied publisher Bandai Namco.
The Sale of the Dead is a two-week, 43-game affair. Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Demon’s Souls highlight the first segment, which continues until October 27th. Week two begins the following day when Sony will offer discounts on titles like Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition, Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare and a trio of Castlevania games through November 4th.
The Namco Sale contains a handful of Tales titles, PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z, along with 16 other offerings. This sale ends October 27th.
Both sales, available only to North American users, feature select movies and television shows, as well. Click here to head over to the PlayStation Store to see the full list of games, shows and movies.
As a side note, you have until October 28th to take advantage of Sony’s deal of a $15 credit rebate for spending $100 in the PlayStation Store.
My Opinion:
As usual, Sony has included solid games in its latest sales. The Sale of the Dead is particularly enticing with Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare arriving in time for some Halloween gaming, if you’re into that kind of thing.
