Dragon Ball Xenoverse Season Pass and DLC Details

If you’ve been excited about Dragon Ball Xenoverse and all the crazy new content it’s going to contain, you might have reason to be even more excited now. Though the faces will be old, the season pass will be bringing new characters and more.

Although Bandai Namco Games and Dimps announced that there are three DLC packs in the pipeline for Xenoverse, we only know the contents of the first at this time.

Expected in March, the first pack will contain three new characters (GT Goku, Pan and GT Trunks) as well as 12 quests, four Time Patrol quests and last but not least, 15 special moves and five costumes to make your custom character all the more custom (and swanky).

We’re unsure of when to expect the other two DLC packs, but if they’re as full of content as pack one, they’ll be worth waiting for. Each pack carries a price tag of $10 and the season pass will be available for a slightly discounted $25.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is set to instant transmission into your PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 or PC (via Steam) on February 27th.

My Opinion:

I do love bonus characters, even if they’re ones from a series’ dark and murky “it’s not canon” sub-series. However, I’ve been burned on buying season passes out of the gate before (Watch_Dogsyep, just Watch_Dogs), so I think I’ll be a bit more careful and pick up this one after I’ve had a month or two to play the game. At this point I’m optimistic and excited for what I’ve seen and what’s to come!

Myles K Farrington is one of the MONG Senior Editors and is legitimately wondering where he’s going from here. Keep up with him over on IGN and Twitter as well!
