If you’ve been holding off on playing the award winning title Shovel Knight because it’s not on any PlayStation consoles, your wait will be over relatively soon!

Developer Yacht Club Games announced via their Twitter account that your wait ends on April 21st.

The release date was announced in conjunction with the reveal of this year’s PlayStation Spring Fever sales event. The sales will be crazy and the plethora of titles will surely keep gamers occupied for quite some time. At least eight weeks, from the looks of things.

My Opinion:

Awesome news! Shovel Knight has seen impressive success, but I’ve only been able to experience it by way of streamers on Twitch. Hopefully the hype won’t let me down and it’ll be just as amazing as I’m hoping when I finally get to play it on my PS4! Between Shovel Knight, Bastion, Helldivers and the soundtrack to Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, there’s gonna be a spring cleaning of my wallet.
