Avalanches, mercenaries, and bears – Oh My! These are just a few of the obstacles Lara Croft faces in Rise of the Tomb Raider. All of those dangerous elements can be witnessed in the new extended gameplay trailer released by Square Enix.
In her last outing, Lara may have escaped from a cursed island, but things are not getting any easier for the young archaeologist. If anything, they have just gotten colder. Bundle up and watch the video below to see what awaits Lara Croft in her next adventure.
My Opinion:
I like what I saw from the extended gameplay footage. It seems like developers Crystal Dynamics are taking what worked from the last game and expanding on it. Seeing Lara leap from trees taking out enemies and fighting bears all look like fun. The snowy weather effects look great, and the promise of more expansive tombs to raid has Rise of the Tomb Raider among my most anticipated games.
