For many people, few things are as terrifying as the thought of eternal damnation. Such is the plight for the protagonist of Agony.

Agony hails from developer Madmind Studio and is a first person survival horror game in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Players take control of a tormented soul trapped in hell with no memory of his past. Only through exploration of the hellish environment does it become clear the secret to escape lies with a mystical Red Goddess.

Luckily, the lost soul of Agony has the ability to control people and even possess the minds of low level demons. For a glimpse at what demonic horrors await in the depths of hell, check out the gameplay demo walkthrough below.

My Opinion:

Hell is a suitably terrifying place to pick as a setting for a survival horror game. Just the loud moans of tormented souls and shrieks of demonic creatures is enough to give me chills.
