It has been a long time coming, but Cuphead finally has a release date.
During Microsoft’s E3 2017 Press Conference it was announced Cuphead will release September 29th for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. It will cost $19.99 at launch and is now available for pre-order. Cuphead is compatible with the Xbox Play Anywhere program, allowing for cross-play among multiple devices.
The stylish, run-and-gun side-scroller initially drew attention for its stylish retro-flavored animation and massive boss battles when it was originally revealed back in 2014. Check out the latest Cuphead trailer below and prepare to wage war with the devil himself this fall.
My Opinion:
I’m a sucker for stylish animation and Cuphead possesses that in spades. I’m glad to see it finally have a set release date and hope it lives up to some of the initial hype it had.
