Welcome back to Throwback Thursday, where we take an older game and examine it and revel in our most cherished childhood memories. While the previous weeks have focused on the original PlayStation’s two major series, this week’s throwback will focus on Nintendo’s series of mascots all in one game: the original Super Smash Bros.
Two brothers, hunkered down in a little southern town in Minnesota have come together to create a small indie studio, Dual Wield Software. After a year and a half of hard work, they are excited to showcase their first card battling game, The Regret of Vitrerran.
Nintendo told Reuters that it will launch a new console and games for emerging markets. After recently suffering losses during its latest fiscal year, Nintendo is in search of new business opportunities. As to why Nintendo has decided to go this route, Satoru Iwata said the new console will be aimed at lower income families and those with less gaming experience. Bethesda has confirmed that The Elder Scrolls Online has been delayed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by about 6 months.
According to Dying Light’s official site, Techland (the team behind the survival horror game) has decided to delay the release date until February 2015. The team released a statement which explained that they wanted the game to revolutionize what people think of the genre and fully realize their initial vision.
