Super Smash Bros. Direct Extravaganza

It has been a long time since I’ve been aboard the Nintendo hype train. Super Mario 3D World was a blast-and-a-half to play, but I only got excited for the blockbuster title after it was released. The features on Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze had me snoring. Hell, even the breaking news on Mario Kart 8 couldn’t get me frothing.

PlayStation All-Stars Gets Ultimate Update, Tournament

The 2012 PlayStation mascot brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is getting an ultimate update, decreasing the price of DLC, unlocking costumes, and tweaking every character. A tournament will also take place in Southern California, with viewers winning weekly prizes.

Borderlands 2 and New Vita go Hand in Hand

Information about the PlayStation Vita iteration of Borderlands 2 got revealed, including a release date of May 13 in North America with other areas pending. However, the Vita 2000 model also recieved a release date of May 6, a week earlier. Those who purchase the Borderlands/Vita 2000 bundle will have it on May 6, getting Borderlands 2 early.
