Alas, it seems that the Vita is not Faster Than Light. One of the co-creators of FTL: Faster Than Light explained the reason behind the spaceship simulator not coming to the Sony handheld despite previously being on iPad.

PlayStation Now Open Beta News
PlayStation Now, the streaming service being implemented by Sony, will be beginning its open beta on July 31st. The open beta will roll out first on the PS4, while the PS3 and Vita will be incorporated soon after. Sony To Release PS4 Patch v1.70, PS Vita Patch v3.15
According to the PlayStation Blog, on April 30th Sony will release a patch for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and the PlayStation Mobile App. While the Vita patch (v3.15) and the Mobile patch (v1.70) are relatively minor, the PS4 patch (v1.70) is a major one.

Final Fantasy X HD Review
Final Fantasy X is one of the most popular games in the series, only behind the likes of Final Fantasy VI, VII, and VIII in most fans’ eyes. This fact made it obvious to Square Enix that an HD port for both PlayStation 3 and Vita would be a huge commercial success.
