The popular Halo 2 map, Coagulation, is getting remastered for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

343 Industries is recreating six maps across the franchise for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.  Currently, Ascension and Coagulation are the only Halo 2 maps that have been revealed.

Along with this announcement, 343 revealed at RTX that a new vehicle called the Gungoose will debut in Halo: The Master Chief Collection along with its own game mode called Gungoose CTF.  The Gungoose is a Mongoose ATV armed with a machine gun.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection was announced at E3 this year.  The collection comes packaged with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, and the Halo 5: Guardians Beta.  

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out November 11th, 2014 for Xbox One.

My Opinion:

I don’t think I am in the minority when I say that Coagulation is one of my favorite Halo 2 maps so, naturally, this got me excited.  I think the Gungoose will also be a great addition to the franchise’s array of vehicles.
