A Quick Rundown of All Upcoming and Available Xbox One Bundles

During Microsoft’s Gamescom Press Conference, three Xbox One bundles were revealed.

These Xbox One bundles will be added to the choices customers already have when purchasing an Xbox One.

Sunset Overdrive

To no one’s suprise, a white Sunset Overdrive Bundle was revealed. This SKU includes a white colored Xbox One and controller, as well as a copy of Sunset Overdrive. Sunset Overdrive is slated to release on October 28, 2014 for $399.

Secondly, a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Bundle was showcased. It features a futuristic design on both the console and the controller. Also included is a new internal 1TB hard drive. Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Bundle is set to release on November 4, 2014. It will retail for $499.

Finally, a FIFA 15 Bundle was also revealed. It features a standard black console and controller, with a copy of the game. It is to be released on September 25, 2014, retailing for £349.

Getting to the previously know bundles, a Madden 15 bundle will be released on Aug 28, 2014. This bundle includes the standard Xbox One console and controller This bundle will retail for $399.

These new bundles will add to the already wide array of console SKUs available for Xbox One. The non-retailer specific Xbox One options already available include:

Day One Edition:

Currently still available for sale long after the Xbox One’s day one, this edition contains a console, a special commemorative controller, a special token achievement, and an Xbox One headset. It is $499.

Standard Edition:

This is the regular Xbox One with a Kinect, controller, and an Xbox One headset included. It retails for $499.

Forza Bundle:

This bundle is similar to the Standard edition, but it includes a free download of Forza 5. With this bundle, customers take home an Xbox Console, a Kinect, a controller, Forza 5, and an Xbox One headset. It retails for $499.

titanfall bundle

Titanfall Bundle:

This edition includes Titanfall, an Xbox One console, a Kinect and an Xbox One headset. This version is also retailing for $499.

Kinectless Edition:

This is currently the cheapest option available to gamers and is considered the “main edition”. It is only a console and a controller. This version of the Xbox One retails for $399.

My Opinion:

There are a lot of bundles already. I’m all for consumer choice, but this is getting a bit ridiculous. This console hasn’t even been on the market for a full year yet and we will soon have eight versions to choose from? Who is running this company?

All joking aside, if you are seriously looking at getting an Xbox One, this holiday season is the time to strike. There are a ton of satifying options for consumers here. I’m going to have trouble grabbing all of these special edition controllers from these bundles.
