Destiny is currently available for pre-loading on the Xbox One!
The announcement was made on Xbox Wire, the official news blog for Xbox. Players will now be able to purchase Destiny from the Xbox Store and will get charged immediately. Afterwards, the user can then download the game but won’t be able to access it until the 9th of September at 00:01, although this may be slightly later if the country the person lives in has multiple time zones.
This comes after the announcement at Gamescom that gamers who own a Xbox One would be able to pre-order and pre-load games on their Xbox One. Strangely enough, when Spencer announced this originally, FIFA 15 and Forza Horizon 2 were supposed to be the first two games to support this. However, it seems like that is no longer the case.
Great! Microsoft keeps on making customers happy. After the announcement of pre-ordering and pre-loading, I know many people were less than happy when it was announced that FIFA 15 was going to be the first one as many people wanted Destiny to have it and I’m sure this will delight them!
