PlayStation Plus once again gives us their offering for November 2014. These indie games will be available when the PlayStation Store updates on November 4th. As always, make sure to add October’s games into your library (which you can do now!) before that time.
For PlayStation 4, gamers technically get three games this month. First is The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, the procedurally generated game from Team Meat, who is known for developing Super Meat Boy. In The Binding of Isaac, a boy is about to be sacrificed by his mother, and must escape his doom in this rougelike game.
The console is also getting SteamWorld Dig, a game that where players are in a steampunk world and a secret lurking underneath the surface. You play as a robot named Rusty as you dig for resources such as ore and water. For more information, check out our review!
The third game for PS4 is actually the port of the PlayStation Vita game Escape Plan. In this game, you control Lil and Laarg as they escape from a trap-filled prison. This game, a launch title for the Vita, will also be cross-buy with the Vita, along with The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Steamworld Dig.
Those with a PlayStation 3 will can receive Frozen Synapse Prime, a top-down tactical shooter that was originally released on mobile devices. Here, players must be able to navigate their troops from level to level, destroying everything in their path.
Luftrausers is an arcade flyer where players are thrown into 16-bit sepia dogfights. The game allows players to upgrade their planes so that they can take down other planes and even aircraft carriers. Both PS3 and Vita owner will be able to pick this one up.
Finally, PlayStation Vita owners can pick up The Hungry Horde, a zombie game where you control the zombie army. The purpose of this game is to infect as many humans as possible before the city The Hungry Horde is set in gets bombed. With minigames like a Snake variant with zombies, Vita owners will get some mileage out of this one.
My Opinion:
This seems like a good month for PS+ owners. I cannot wait to play Luftrausers, Steamworld Dig and Escape Plan this month. What will you be picking up? What do you wish was on next month’s offering?
