The new trailer shows main characters Reynn and Lann meeting up with notable characters from previous Final Fantasies, including Faris (Final Fantasy V), Rydia (Final Fantasy IV), and Eiko (Final Fantasy IX). Near the end is a quick glimpse at some of the enemies you can expect to encounter.
Also in the trailer is the game’s theme song, “Innocence2,” performed by Mizuki.
World of Final Fantasy releases on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on October 25th. If you’re one who wants to play the game with Japanese voiceover, you may want to get the game’s Day One edition.
I’m loving how much this game is looking like a Kingdom Hearts. I know it’s an Active Time Battle system, but story-wise it feels like KH, and I have no qualms about that.
