THE BEST MEGA MAN GAME EVER MADE

Each year there are a plethora of indie titles, many of them which are naturally described as “a love letter to classic gaming”. These games, like Mercenary Kings or Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Videogame, try their best to recreate the magic of the NES or SNES era. However, while these other titles attempt to mimic the unique style of these classic titles, Shovel Knight is one of the only ones able to systematically reimagine and perfect the experience. In short, Shovel Knight is a must-get if you are or have ever been a classic gamer.

Entwined Review

FEELS LIKE A STUDENT PROJECT BECAUSE IT IS

During Sony’s E3 Press Conference, one of the more surprising announcements was the reveal (and simultaneous release) of Entwined on the PlayStation 4. Fast forward to 2012 — Nintendo, in an effort to bring “core” console gamers back to their platforms, announced the inclusion of big-title third party games, primarily Arkham City Armored Edition, Mass Effect 3: Special Edition, and Call of Duty: Ghosts. And now, at E3 2014, we are getting Devil’s Third. Continue reading What is Devil’s Third?

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Announced for Wii U

Early adopters of the Nintendo DS will fondly remember Kirby Canvas Curse. The title was one of the first to utilize the lower touch screen by by allowing the player to move Kirby based on a line you would draw with the stylus. Why bring this up? Nintendo has announced a sequel to the game, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, for the Wii U. Continue reading Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Announced for Wii U
