Destiny Becomes the Most Played Beta to Date!

According to a report from Business Wire citing an Activision statement, Bungie’s Destiny beta pulled in approximately 4,638,937 unique players in its nine day period.  The test began on July 17th for PS3 and PS4 users, went down for a day and a half, returning half a day early and adding Xbox One and Xbox 360 to the beta.  In its final three days, the beta was open to all within the two console groups, where it supposedly reached its peak numbers. Sony Dismisses EA’s Subscription Model as Lacking Value

Yesterday, EA announced a partnership with Microsoft to bring Access, a $4.99/$29.99 a year subscription service that grants access to EA’s “Vault” library (includes FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25, Peggle 2, and Battlefield 4). Konami To Show Off Games At Gamescom

Konami revealed the lineup of their 2014 Gamescom presence and they promise that the games will advance the anticipation. This year’s Gamescom will take place on August 13th in Cologne, Germany. Guardians of The Galaxy Invades Minecraft

Rocket Raccoon Will Crush Any Creeper!

Guardians of the Galaxy is hitting theaters on August 1st, 2014 and it’s looking great!  So why not fire up Minecraft  and play as your favorite superheros.  Marvel editor Ben Morse confirmed the five guardians will be making there way onto Xbox One and Xbox 360 version of Minecraft soon.  Nothing official yet on whether they will be coming to the other platforms.
