Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds Review

CHIBIS AND ALL OUT ACTION

Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds is an unexpected surprise for such an obscure title. I’m not a huge fan of side-scrolling brawlers (though I’ve played my fair share) and I haven’t heard much about this game before, except that it was previously released in 2013 for the Xbox Live Arcade on Xbox 360. Despite this, Phantom Breaker: Battlegrounds provided one of the best casual gaming experiences I had in a long time with its re-release on the PlayStation Vita.

Xbox Of Thrones

If you happen to be a gamer who’s also a fan of George R.R. Martin’s Game of Thrones (I assume that many of us are), then you’re about to feel some pretty strong feelings of jealousy. It’s alright, everyone understands, it’s a reasonable reaction when you see this fancy Game of Thrones themed Xbox One given away at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

Dance Central Spotlight Releasing in September

Earlier this week Harmonix announced that Dance Central Spotlight will be released in the US for Xbox One September 2nd for $10. This will be the first major dance game released this console generation and it marks the fourth overall entry in the Dance Central series.

DOOM Won’t Be Ready To Be Shown Until 2015

Over the weekend, id Software had their 18th annual QuakeCon down at Dallas, Texas. The major news to come out of QuakeCon was the gameplay footage of DOOM 4.
