IS CREAZN STUDIO WORKING ON RESIDENT EVIL: OUTBREAK HD?
As we reported last week, an anonymous source mentioned previous involvement in a HD remaster of Resident Evil Outbreak, which Capcom supposedly outsourced to the independant studio he/she worked for at the time. Working off of the clues given in that message, we may have pinpointed the studio in question. Continue reading IS CREAZN STUDIO WORKING ON RESIDENT EVIL: OUTBREAK HD?
7 EXCLUSIVE GAMES NINTENDO DIDN’T DESERVE
The video game industry owes a lot to Nintendo. People often point out how the former toy company single-handedly brought this entertainment medium back after the horrific crash, and went on to innovate and reinvigorate in a new generation of their own making — but that was then. Nowadays Nintendo is too hung up on gimmicks and maintaining an inoffensive online community, leaving lots of former fans in the cold. Too many awesome games go unnoticed by those who abandoned Nintendo, and here’s a handful that have no business being exclusive to this fading icon. DISNEY INFINITY 3.0 – THE FORCE AWAKENS PLAY SET REVIEW
I HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS…
Disney Infinity 3.0 surprised me when it released earlier this year, exceeding all of my expectations. The Twilight of the Republic Play Set was a genuinely great game based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, while Rise Against the Empire provided a CliffNotes (yet authentic) take on the original trilogy. So how does their official adaptation of Star Wars: The Force Awakens fare? Fear not, no spoilers! Continue reading DISNEY INFINITY 3.0 – THE FORCE AWAKENS PLAY SET REVIEW
DIGITALLY DOOMED: MAVERICK HUNTER
We all have that one game that we were beyond excited for, only to find out it was canceled. Perhaps it was never even announced, quietly snuffed out to be discovered later. This can happen for many reasons, from the sudden closure of its development studio, to the firing or resignation of a key member of the title in question. These games were doomed to never see release, but that doesn’t mean the concepts were bad. Today I’m going to talk about one such game, called Maverick Hunter, which never saw the light of day. IS EA’S NEXT STAR WARS GAME A RPG?
EA and Visceral teamed up a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away — and that’s pretty much all we’ve known about their upcoming Star Wars game. Now we’ve been gifted a few precious details, but will the game be what we expected? Continue reading IS EA’S NEXT STAR WARS GAME A RPG?
APPARENTLY THE INTERNET HATES FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE ALREADY
Well, that escalated quickly. Everyone’s personal hype gauge for Final Fantasy VII Remake shot from one to 100 after a single trailer… then flatlined the moment it was discussed. Okay, so the game being released in “multiple parts” is unexpected — but is it a bad thing? I don’t think so, and here’s why.
