EA Access Beta Preview

EA Access is a service much like Games with Gold or the Instant Game Collection (the free game programs that come with Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus Respectively). It was announced by EA last week and I was lucky enough to find a beta key waiting in my inbox when I got home. I managed to download and install it with no issues.

World of Warcraft Loses 800,000 Subscribers, What Does This Mean for the MMO Giant?

Despite the brief rise in subscribers at the beginning of this year, it appears that World of Warcraft is once again on a downward trend. Yesterday, Activision Blizzard announced that World of Warcraft has lost about 800,000 subscribers in the company’s quarterly earnings report. Gamasutra Salary Survey Shows Progress

Last month Gamasutra (a website devoted to the game industry) released the results of their annual game industry salary survey. The results spoke a lot to the character and direction of the constantly expanding gaming industry. It would seem that the industry is growing up and at a much faster rate than other industries in the country.
