Last Gen Version of Shadow Of Mordor Gets Delayed

There will be a delay for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. Failure to Launch — A Destined Blunder?

Last night, with the launch of Destiny, it became apparent through the official Twitter page for the game that gameplay itself was available at midnight in each time zone.  This was contrary to what most sources had sited, which was that the game would not be available to play until midnight Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). So, if a guardian lived on the east coast and picked up their copy at midnight, they would not have been able to play it for another three hours.

What’s the fastest selling console in history? That’s right; it’s the PlayStation 4. What is one thing that will boost those sales even more? That’s right: bundles.  Not everyone loves them (like Scott, he prefers the plain jane kind of consoles) but even those who like the standard consoles have to admit that the bundles sell.  When it comes to Sony products, they can package more in a set than either Nintendo or Microsoft can.

Velocity 2X Review

RACING INTO THE BIG LEAGUES

A month before it had even been released, FuturLab made a bold claim that their title Velocity 2X is the game of the year. The article went on to focus on how Velocity 2X exemplifies the categories for a game of the year nomination: “best-in-class for audio, graphics, gameplay quality & production value.” To my delight and amusement, I am glad to report that Velocity 2X meets the high bar they set for themselves — FuturLab has made a game that rivals the likes of Housemarque’s Resogun for best arcade game on PlayStation consoles.
