Recently, the folks over at inXile Entertainment were kind enough to provide us with a beta code for their upcoming game, Wasteland 2. inXile would like us to stress that the game is still an early access beta, and is therefore not completely finished. I ran into a few bugs, glitches, and rough edges, but what I saw looked promising. I can’t wait to see what the game looks like with a bit more polish on it.
Even after a fairly rough release, Marvel Heroes is still chugging along with new content under the new title Marvel Heroes 2015. One of the newest additions to the ever growing roster of Marvel characters is one of the mainstay X-Men (or X-Women in this case), Rogue. August is notorious for signaling the end of summer, meaning everyone [of age] is heading back to school. This was also a great month, if slow, for gamers, due to awesome games coming out around this time. Sony has released its best selling list for August 2014 among the PlayStation platforms.
A variety of major gaming companies, including Sony, may be the victim of coordinated distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, according to Sony’s President, Shuhei Yoshida. The ‘group’ that has claimed to have carried out the attacks calls themselves the ‘Lizard Squad’.
So, Microsoft finally completed the 180 they started a year ago. Did they make the right choice? Do we as gamers win? Or are we going to miss out on something now?
