Tales of Hearts R Review

WORTH THE WAIT


Even though the Tales series’ fanbase has grown exponentially over the last few years, it felt like a longshot that its western fans would ever get to experience one of its Vita entries. When it was finally announced earlier this year that we would in fact get an English version of Tales of Hearts R, fans everywhere thanked Hideo Baba (producer of the Tales games) and Bandai Namco for taking a chance.  I am one of those fans.  We all understand that releasing a Japanese Vita game in an English market hasn’t seen the greatest success, and yet they still chose to do it… for us.  However, even though they chose to release it here – it doesn’t actually mean that it would turn out to be any good.   Continue reading Tales of Hearts R Review

Lords of the Fallen Review

RISING TO THE OCCASION

I remember the first time I ever played Demon’s Souls. I was working one day, and I had someone go grab a copy for me because I’d heard such great things about it. However, after actually playing the game, I didn’t understand a thing about it. I pestered a friend by text messaging him for hours as I tried to comprehend the world and mechanics of the game, but it was all for naught: Demon’s Souls just wasn’t for me. Sword Art Online: Lost Song is coming to both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita next year. While Bandai Namco has yet to announce any plans for the action RPG title to come to the west, Bandai Namco has announced that the game is getting an English localisation.
