Sunset Overdrive’s New Enemies/Faction Revealed at Gamescom

Just before the reveal of the White Xbox One Sunset Overdrive bundle (the one that was leaked only a week ago) there was a new trailer for the game.  The trailer was very reminiscent of something from Borderlands 2, giving a brief but comical introduction to the world of the Insomniac title, and its zany characters.

If You Haven’t Seen It, DriveClub Has A New Trailer

During Sony’s Gamescom press conference, a new trailer was shown for DriveClub, Sony’s first exclusive, team-focused racer.  The trailer featured team members functioning separately within the game world, and the whole team shared in their rewards even though they weren’t present for the events.  Check it out below:

Drive Club Special Edition for Europe, Hopes for NA

Sony revealed through IGN that a special edition of Drive Club has been announced for Europe, and is priced at €69.99.  On the physical side of the goodies, those who purchase the version will find unique foil art encased in a high-quality sleeve, as well as two vinyl stickers with emblems on them.

Twitch Already Taking a Page Out of YouTube’s Book

As many feared with Google purchasing Twitch, changes associated with YouTube are already being implemented on the streaming giant.  Some of the smaller changes have to do with saving videos on demand (VODs), which the Official Twitch Blog stated that the service would be removing the ability to keep videos forever. Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition Coming to PS4, Xbox One In October

Amazon has revealed that a Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition: Limited Edition (Seriously? Definitive Limited?) may be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. While it’s not surprising that Amazon has made this slip up/preemptive reveal, it is surprising that it was not Amazon France, the mother of all Amazon leaks.

GameStop Offering More Money For Trade-Ins, Is it Enough for You? | POLL

Earlier today, a report from Kotaku detailed a new trade-in pricing structure which eliminates the complicated incentives model currently in place at GameStop.  The old method gave extra percentages on trade-in value toward used games, game reservations and more.  Now, those additional values are being removed and GameStop claims that this will give additional value to its customers.

The Best and Worst of the PlayStation Vita Remote Play

I truly enjoy the PlayStation Vita.  Its games and apps are phenomenal, but the phrase I love to tout about the portable is that: “it’s the best feature of the PlayStation 4.”  Obviously I’m referring to remote play; while the devices are constrained to staying within roughly thirty feet of each other, it still allows the user to take their game with them to other places in the home.
